Roading

We have experience building and widening local roads and motorway pavements, and have worked on multiple large NZTA projects including:

• SH18 Albany to Greenhithe

• SH1 Silverdale to Puhoi

• SH1 Newmarket Connection: Viaduct (Flyover)

• SH20 Mt Roskill Extension

• SH1 Victoria Park Tunnel

• SH20 to Airport

• SH1 Puhoi to Warkworth

On these and other projects, we have performed all manner of roading tasks including building haul roads, laying protective running course, undercutting, cut to subgrade, preparation of sub-base, laying & compaction of base course layers, bulk placing of Cement Treated Base Course (CTB), and completion of all quality testing. This includes prepping and laying thousands of square meters of chip seal, hotmix, and friction course.

We can manage & undertake all aspects of the roading works required to complete your project, not just the final pavement layers. From stormwater drainage & catchpit installations, installation & shifting of utility services, kerb & channel, street grates & street wear, barrier installation, road lighting, to organising all Quality Assurance (QA) testing.

This will give you one point of contact throughout the construction process, eliminating the need for you to manage several different sub-trades. In the past this has provided our clients the confidence that if an issue did arise, they already have a multi-skilled and pragmatic team onsite to sort anything that crops up.
